Out2Pasture Farms is an LLC, dedicated to the permanent retirement of equines.
The main objective of Out2Pasture farms is to provide an alternative for individuals who have decided to retire their beloved equine companion. Additionally, Out2Pasture Farms provides quality of life options for injured or abused horses that might have otherwise been put down or possibly sold at auction.
Along with our private efforts to do our part for those in need, Out2Pasture has served as a satellite farm for the last 10 years for various equine rescue groups including the Exceller Fund, CANTER, the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. In our capacity with these organizations, our farm serves as permanent retirement for those horses that are physically and/or emotionally unable to be placed back out into the public.
Another very important objective of our work at Out2Pasture Farms is to serve as a model facility for equine retirement and to do our part to educate the public regarding the standards of care that equine retirement facilities should be held to and adhere. We feel that serving as a model for permanent retirement for non-humans is one of our greatest responsibilities.
Our solemn pledge for those Retired at our facilities insures that: All souls under our care will be provided a quality of life with as comfortable and pain-free existence as we can provide. And when physical and/or medical circumstances no longer allow that quality of life; those souls will be gently and humanely euthanized.
